travel in Zagreb

There and back again

So, here we are, this is the end... A last week of examens and after, the come back.

And it's time for a bilan in 10 points !

So, after 13 weeks in Budapest :

  • We discovered the baths the first week... and we came back many times !

  • We ate more junk food than ever (several times a week...), having too many fast food restaurants in the neighborhood isn't good neither for our money nor for our weight...
  • We bought about 6.300 kg of Nutella... but for 3 weeks, we haven't got it anymore...

  • We spend 30 € per person in the common transports, for an unlimited access to all the city and around.
  • We took the habit to convert the prices in Euros and to say "Wow ! It's cheap compared to France !" (a habit we'll have to loose quickly...).
  • We are just able to say "Thank you", "Hello", "Goodbye" and "I don't speak Hungarian"... but, we are (almost) able to pronounce it correctly !
  • I saw some of the most beautiful places I have ever seen (the edges of the Balaton Lake, the Hungarian Parliament, the view from the Citadella...)

  • We will never say "English is difficult to learn" anymore !
  • It is now a fact : one day, I will have a villa (or a little flat if I can't afford it) in front of the lake Balaton !
  • And to finish, we know that Croatia is wonderful... in July, when the sun is shining and the wind is just refreshing !

This is the end. The end of the journey, the end of this experience... I will miss Hungary I think. Not in the next weeks, but later, on summer maybe... Next time I will not come "alone", I will share what I saw with someone.

Next step, Angers !

See you next week !
